The futuristic world of credit cards and Paypal aren't everyone's bag, so if you prefer it old school, a cheque will do just fine thanks. Here's what to do.

1. Make out a cheque for the total amount of what you're buying plus £1 for postage and packing.

2. Include a simple covering note giving your postal address in full and stating which item/s you're buying.
